Wind leaves no mark of its own, only the impression it leaves on everything else. The Wind Series is made from that paradox; movement rendered in paint, the invisible made visible through its effects. Using my wide 12-inch brush and a variety of made tools, I created marks sweeping across the canvas with urgency, forms lean and scatter, and a restless energy runs beneath even the calmest compositions.
