The Water Series
Still or in motion, the element of water in these paintings is always exploring. The Water Series moves between reflection and depth, surfaces shimmer and what lies beneath — a body of work as fluid as the element itself. Blues shift and layer, forms dissolve at their edges, and the eye is invited not to land but to drift through the painting.
"Water doesn't hold a determined shape. It holds everything else's shape," Omar observes. "That felt like the right place to make this series of works."
